THE PEAR

The pear is a very sweet fruit also known since the past for its medicinal properties .

This fruit, eaten regularly, allows us to assimilate essential substances for our body.

First we need to highlight the important role it plays in the battle against osteoporosis : pears are rich in calcium and potassium which help keep our bones and joints healthy.

Thanks to the presence of fibers , which we find above all in the peel of this fruit, pears help regulate our intestines. Among the fibers present, we mention two in particular pectin and lignin : the first fights bad cholesterol by promoting its evacuation and the second has the function of absorbing a lot of water, facilitating the passage of faeces and counteracting the presence and formation of hemorrhoids.

Another important element is boron which helps improve the promptness of reflexes and the ability to store information in our brain.

Pears are also rich in vitamins, such as vitamins C and B , mineral salts , folic acid , especially important during pregnancy and natural sugars such as fructose and glucose . The latter are highly digestible by our body and allow us to store energy.

Finally, let's not forget the antioxidant properties of this fruit, helping our body to keep the skin elastic, preventing cardiovascular problems and the risk of stroke.
