The heart of any Dolcevita TURBO CLASSIC barbecue is the body. The way this is designed and built determines its efficiency and durability. With the new Dolcevita TURBO CLASSIC barbecue series, the fully welded firebox in porcelain enamelled steel has been completely redesigned. By building the hearth and the front panel in a single piece, a stronger frame is obtained which is able to guarantee long life to the Dolcevita TURBO CLASSIC barbecues. All Dolcevita barbecues in the TURBO CLASSIC series have double-walled fireboxes and hoods, so double the insulation allows for greater temperature control and better heat retention. The cooking surfaces and roasting area heat up more efficiently using less gas – all of which reduces carbon residue.

Enamelled steel body available in the versions with enamelled steel trolley or with beech wooden trolley. The Dolcevita TURBO CLASSIC barbecue models are also characterized by the cast iron plate and the inverted "V" shaped grills. Although cast iron is a material with excellent heat conduction properties, it is easily affected by rust. For this reason the cooking surfaces are coated with opaque porcelain enamel subjected to 800° Celsius
