The UltraQ Controller BBQ Guru is the ideal companion for any grill master or catering professional who wants to enhance their cooking and take it to the highest levels. With this thermoregulator you are sure to obtain the precision of an electric oven and cook perfectly cooked dishes thanks to Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi control. Control takes place via the cloud, accessible from anywhere, and the Status Q light ring ensures real-time feedback. The LED ring indicates temperature status by colour: when the outer ring turns red and flashes on the sides the UltraQ runs the variable speed fan to maintain the cooking temperature, while it flashes red if anything should happen unexpected, or turns blue if the grill is still preheating and has not yet reached the desired temperature.
With UltraQ you can also share media : Synchronize your UltraQ with the web and site functions ShareMyCook.com . Join the BBQ Guru online community to create and share how-to's with others, see how other grilling experts work, upload pictures of delicious food, and support others.
RAMP-MODE function
This function allows you to reduce the cooking space temperature before reaching the internal temperature. If ramp mode is set to (rAY), it is activated at low temperature (about 110°C). This function is used for "long cooking" so that the food does not overcook. This function gradually lowers the cooking space temperature to the set core temperature as soon as the cooking space sensor is approx. 10°C from the set core temperature sensor. The control unit maintains the cooking chamber temperature slightly above the core temperature as long as coal (fuel) is available.
OPEN-LID function
This function allows you to quickly restore the desired temperature after opening the lid. If the lid option is set to (oLY) in the menu, lid open detection is activated. When the lid is opened, the temperature drops. This can cause the blower to “overheat” the charcoal (fuel) and cause the standard temperature to rise when the lid is closed.
This mode detects when the oven lid is open and minimizes fan operation during this time.
The temperature always rises if the cooking space lid is opened and closed often, even when the fan is switched off. In the factory setting, the "Open Lid" mode is always activated. Disable this setting if you are having problems with excessive airflow. To avoid false alarms, when the mode is activated, no alarms sound when the temperature drops and the lid is opened.
